Laur joue avec l’ambiguïté des formes entre art et design et choisit de détourner le pouvoir évocateur de la cymbale ; de transformer cet instrument de musique aux résonances sonores en « vibration » de lumière.

Ce travail est le résultat d’une collaboration avec un artisan sellier de haute facture, la cymbale est gainée en cuir ; des liens en cuir rappelle la matière sur le pied.

Rock n ’Lux lamp in leather.

Laur plays with the ambiguity of forms between art and design and chooses to twist the evocative power of the cymbal ; to turn this musical instrument with sound resonances into a « vibration » of light.

This work is the result of a collaboration with a high-end leather craftman, the cymbal is wrapped in leather ; leather links recall the material on the foot.

The furniture are tailor made ; high quality materials are selected and details and finishes are made with care.
