Tokyo Ebisu Garden Place, Japan – 2005

L’installation scénographique de Laur est ouverte au grand public et prend place pour un mois sur la place extérieure de Ebisu Garden Place pour la période de Noël. L’exposition attend plus de 150,000 personnes sur un mois.
L’installation est un cube de 10 mètres par 10 mètres, dans lequel vient s’accrocher plusieurs fils de lumières LED en couches successives. L’espace devient une forêt dense de lumières, la forêt des amoureux, où les points de lumière se reflètent à l’infini.
Laur collabore avec Virginie Lavey pour les photos noir et blanc des amoureux et Aoki Takamasa pour la composition originale d’une installation sonore.

The scenography of Laur is open to the public and takes place for a month on the outdoor square of Ebisu Garden Place for the Christmas period.
The installation is a cube of 10 meters by 10 meters, in which hangs several threads of LED lights in successive layers. The space becomes a dense forest of lights, the forest of lovers, where the points of light are reflected to infinity.
Laur collaborates with Virginie Lavey for the black and white photos of the lovers and Aoki Takamasa for the original composition of a sound installation.
