Exhibition « Poetic Landscape » – A LED video concept
Tokyo Omotesando, Japan – 2004

L’installation «Poetic Landscape» prend place lors de l’événement Design « Tokyo Designers Block » et reçoit le prestigieux prix de la meilleure installation du Magazine de renommée internationale: FRAME.
Laur est intéressée par les nouvelles technologies et conçoit ces blocs / sculptures hybrides « entre art et design », utilisant la technologie de la vidéo LED.
La surface horizontale et verticale des blocs devient une surface animée par la vidéo, mêlant images colorées abstraites et figuratives. L’éclairage LED diffusé met en valeur les vêtements et accessoires de la collection de vêtement Frapbois. Projet en collaboration avec Virginie Lavey – vidéo artiste.

The « Poetic Landscape » installation takes place during the Design Event of « Tokyo Designers Block » and is awarded from the prestigious prize of the best installation of the internationally renowned FRAME Magazine.
Laur is interested in new technologies and designs hybrid blocks / sculptures « between art and design », using LED video technology.
The horizontal and vertical surface of the blocks becomes a surface animated by the video, mixing abstract colourful images and figurative images. The diffused LED lighting highlights the clothes and accessories of the clothing collection of Frapbois. Project in collaboration with Virginie Lavey – video artist.

Leather Collection

Hong Kong – 2013

Laur conçoit une collection de mobilier en cuir, présentée à l’occasion de l’exposition « Live in Leather » durant le salon du cuir de Hong Kong.
Les pieces : sofa avec plaid mouton, pouf / table basse en peau de poisson, coussin cuir tresse, bouteille / bougeoir en peau de poisson, tapis avec empiècements et tatouage, module mural décoratif; explore la matière du cuir.

Laur designs a leather collection of furniture and objects, presented at the « Live in Leather » exhibition during the Hong Kong leather fair.
The pieces: sofa with plaid sheep leather, pouf / coffee table in fish skin, cushion with knitting leather, bottle / candle holder in fish skin, carpets with inserts and tattoo, decorative wall module; explore the leather materials.

Public> Gallery

Exhibition « Vision 1 » Public> Gallery
Paris, France – 1999

Laur conçoit un concept de meubles / objets scénographiques qui prennent place dans la galerie Public>, et invite plusieurs artistes à intervenir successivement en interaction avec les pieces exposées.
L’installation est évolutive et la perception des meubles / objets scénographiques prend force et se métamorphose avec les collaborations / performances d’artistes invités.
Artistes invités: Christian Rizzo, Joana Preiss & Vincent Epplay , Shinichiro Arakawa, Bili Bouviala, Francoise Darmon, Gilles de Bure.

Laur creates a concept of scenographic furniture / objects that take place in the Public> gallery, and invites several artists for a successively collaboration in interaction with the exposed pieces.
The installation is progressive and the perception of the scenographic objects takes strength and metamorphoses with the collaborations / performances of invited artists.

Rocket Gallery

Exhibition « Absence »
Tokyo Omotesando, Japan – 2002

Pour l’exposition «Absence» à la Galerie Rocket, Laur crée une expérience scénographique explorant la relation entre le design de l’espace et le son.
Les lignes et les structures linéaires sont utilisées pour suggérer l’environnement ; et les mouvements déclenchent des émissions sonores.
Laur a invité Slipped Disc, musicien compositeur Japonais, à créer un son interactif qui plonge le visiteur dans une perspective, une perception de l’espace.

This installation « absence » at Rocket Gallery is a scenographic collaborative experiment exploring the relationship between space design and sound.
Lines and linear structures are used to suggest environment ; movement triggered sound emissions.
Laur invited Slipped Disc a Japanese musician composer to create an interactive sound that gives a perspective, a perception of the space.

Shinichiro Arakawa Gallery

Exhibition Paris, France 2000

L’exposition présente une installation de meubles scénographiques. 

Les meubles sont « mis en scène » dans l’espace de la galerie et éclairés par un dispositif lumière spécifique ; ils apparaissent telle une installation scénographique vivante la journée et telle une installation graphique dématérialisée de toute perspective la nuit.

Ce projet obtient la bourse du département culturel de la Ville de Paris, et est présenté à la galerie Shinichiro Arakawa de Paris.

The exhibition presents an installation of scenographic furniture.

The furniture is « staged » in the gallery space and illuminated by a specific light device; they appear as a living scenographic installation during the day and as a graphic installation dematerialized from any perspective in the evening.

This project is awarded of the Cultural Department of Paris, and is presented at the gallery Shinichiro Arakawa of Paris.

Cette piece est une pièce scénographique qui intègre un dispositif lumineux (sorte de langage codé abstrait) et un dispositif sonore.
Laur collabore avec Aoki Takamasa / musicien compositeur pour la composition originale de cette installation sonore.
L’installation investie la boutique de Tsumori Chisato a l’occasion de Tokyo Designers Block.

This piece is a scenographic piece that incorporates a luminous device (a kind of abstract coded language) and a sound device.
Laur collaborates with Aoki Takamasa / musician composer for the original composition of this sound installation.
The installation invested Tsumori Chisato’s boutique in during Tokyo Designers Block.
