Laur begins his collaboration with Toulemonde Bochart, designing the 'Théo' rug. This rug is inspired by the simplicity of Japanese Zen gardens, seeking to reproduce and sublimate nature. The rug's shapes are organic, with color harmonies evocative of these gardens, and it is also a tribute to the sculptural works of Isamu Noguchi, which maintain a profound link between nature and the poetics of space.
The rug is hand-knotted jute.
It is presented during Paris Design Week 2021, and enters the new boutique collection of the Toulemonde Bochart house.
