Interior architecture and furniture: design Laur Meyrieux
Black-and-white images from Akira Kurosawa's film "Spider Castle" inspired Laur to create this architecture: the forest of trees is bathed in the diffuse, filtering light of a thick fog; dewdrops shimmer on the vegetation.
Two grids of pillars are superimposed to create a forest of pillars for a modular display of clothes racks and shelves.
The materials selected play with the light and dress the space in sensuality. A wall clad in cotton canvas absorbs light, while other textures reflect it. Glass panels enclosing a fishnet or lace fabric separate the space and create intimacy.
