Laur joue avec l’ambiguïté des formes entre art et design, détourne des matières ou des objets de leurs utilisations, exprime sa sensibilité au travail de la lumière. 

La cymbale, tout comme la guitare, est pour elle un objet culte, symbole de sa culture. Avec la lampe Rock n’ Lux, elle choisit de détourner le pouvoir évocateur de la cymbale ; de transformer cet instrument de musique aux résonances sonores en « vibration » de lumière.

Matériaux:  pied métal chrome, cymbale métal finition époxy, fil électrique spirale noir ou blanc, douille E14

Laur play with the ambiguity of forms between art and design, twist materials or objects from their initial uses, and express her sensitivity to the work of light. 

The cymbal, like the guitar, is for her a cult object, a symbol of her culture. With the Rock n’ Lux lamp, she chose to twist the evocative power of the cymbal ; to turn this musical instrument with sound resonances into a « vibration » of light.

Materials: metal stand, metal cymbal with epoxy paint finish, electric wire

Laur a dessiné des luminaires au fil de ses projets d’architecture intérieure. Chandelier LED, luminaire mobile, suspension, lampe sur pied… Chaque pièce a été réalisée sur mesure pour chacun des projets.

France & Japan – 1995 ~ 2004

Laur a reçu de multiples bourses de développement de projets mobilier par: le Ministère de la culture: bourse FIACRE, le département culturel de la ville de Paris, le VIA en France et au Japon avec Tokyo Designers Block. Laur a également reçu le prix de renommée internationale du Magazine Frame.

Laur received numerous grants for the development of furniture projects by: the Ministry of Culture: FIACRE grant, the cultural department of the city of Paris, the VIA in France and Japan with Tokyo Designers Block. Laur also received the international award from Frame magazine.

Habitat Design Lights

Laur a designé plusieurs luminaires pour Habitat de 1996 à 1998, vendus dans les boutiques Habitat en Europe

Christian Rizzo

France – 2001

Laur a suivi Christian Rizzo et ses danseurs lors des répétitions de la chorégraphie « Falbalas » pour créer un objet / livre édité par le Centre Chorégraphique de Grenoble.
Petit ouvrage collector de cartes avec techniques variées.
